I'm Hotter Than Hillary

The bottom picture is a pic of me, circa October 2006, and the top picture features Hillary Clinton, circa 1970's. My mentor sent me this pic of Hillary to note similiar facial features between myself and an a young Hillary. This hilarious picture of Hillary (no pun intended) is featured on the very popular website, http://www.punditkitchen.com/ A website devoted to taking pics of politians and adding comical captions.

Nerd, Geek Or Square

According to dictionary.com a Nerd is defined as, "A foolish, inept, or unattractive person" while a Geek is a "A person regarded as foolish, inept, or clumsy." And although one is defined as unattractive and the other is considered clumsy, both are secondly defined as, "A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept." Now a Square is "a person who is ignorant of or uninterested in current fads, ideas, manners, tastes, etc.; an old-fashioned, conventional, or conservative person."

Now, bearing in the mind the three, (nerd, geek or square) I guess I would have to say I am best described as a square.

The reason that I bring this up is because of my experience the other night at the bar. I was playing Billards with this attractive, young Blonde man when he said, "I hope I do not offend when I say this... but there can only be one of two reasons why a beautiful woman such as yourself knows how to play billards... either you are a Daddy's Girl or you are just looking to get laid..." He then proceeded to comment on the way I dress, nice slacks with a blouse. He said that I dress very conservatively for someone my age, 22. I said, "Well, I like to leave some mystery as to what I am hiding beneath these clothes. If a man sees a woman in tank-top and a short shirt he can pretty much see in his mind what she looks like naked."

All that to say, I am a square. Thank you and good night.

The Knight: Change 1

(New last verse, 2 May 2008, by LMD and Mac)

He took my hand into his

Said, let's take up this sword

Use strengths for others

And poverty, let's not ignore

And insightful, delightful was he

And I was no longer just an ordinaire

To that sweet gentleman who petitioned me

And our lives we would share

The Knight

(Written August 2006, By LMD)

A brilliant man I thought him
Perfect in every way
A knight in armor was he
But gentle as the rain
He walked with sword and strength at hand
A beacon yet at night
And dare deceive him, the sword can
Bring justice to light

An intelligent man I knew him
By the way that he would talk
He rode on for several days now
But tired not was his walk
He crafted a talent for saving the harmed
He knew his mission
And never was he ever alarmed
For he always listened

He stayed only for a few days
In the town I call my home
I needn’t be rescued
But I felt ever so alone
And I was sighing and crying and grieved
But he did not even notice me
And as I stood there in my time of need
I prayed that he would see

Eventually I ran up to him
I pleaded great by his side
And though he kept right along
His love he couldn’t hide
And I kept calling and falling to my knees
And he just kept riding down the lane
And I felt better as he came back to me
I knew I wouldn’t be the same

He took my hand into his
Said he would give up the sword
And though I hated it for all others
He kept always to his word
And insightful, delightful was he
And I could not compare
To the sweet gentleman that followed me
And our lives we would share

Technology

If you look below this entry you will see a personality quiz that I took on http://www.personaldna.com/ ! After I took the 11 page quiz I of course wanted to share the results with you however I am not all too familar with the ideas of 'scripts' and 'html' so posting the quiz was somewhat difficult for me. A friend and I spend several hours via phone and internet trying to figure out the best way to post the quiz but we were not seeing a lot of satisfying results. My friend, who understands a bit about 'html' tried to fix the issue but was not having much luck...

Then this morning is occured to me... I have the snipping tool that came with Windows Vista and so I went to the website, drew a box around the table, inserted it as a picture, and then posted it for all of you to see.

The point is, there are so many different, correct ways of accomplishing the same goal, the question is, which one is the least complicated?

Personality Quiz

This chart shows thirteen personality traits. Each bar indicates the percentage of test takers who entered a lower value for that trait than you did. For example, if Confidence is at 80, that means that 80% of people entered lower values for confidence questions than you did. Based on a sample of 30,000 users. My Brain

A couple months before I left my hospital job in Iraq, the X-Ray Techs asked for volunteers so they could train the new group of X-Ray Techs how to work the machines. I volunteered to have my head examined.
After the proceedure, the Sergeant put the pictures of my brain on a CD for me. I proudly walked around the hospital shouting, "Look guys, I have a brain..." but then of course, from then on when I did something silly, people would say, "Awww, I see you left the disc at home today..."
